Himespetchi is a female Tamagotchi character from the Tamagotchi anime franchise, recognizable by her princess styling and her very open, dramatic crush on Mametchi. Short voice clips of her sighing and squealing were lifted from episodes and shared on soundboards and in fan edits, where her ahhhh became a shorthand for swooning. It sits alongside other anime ahhhh reaction sounds online because it is instantly readable, even for viewers who have never watched the series, and it keeps being reused for cute, lovestruck reactions in memes and edits.
