Hugh Neutron is the duck loving father in The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron, Boy Genius, which ran on Nickelodeon from 2002 to 2006 and was voiced by Mark DeCarlo. The character became a lasting meme figure for his goofy, over the top parenting and random obsessions. Short clips of his loudest lines were later shared on soundboards and in video edits, where this crabgrass scream stood out for its sudden intensity. It remains popular because it turns a familiar cartoon dad into a universal reaction for everyday frustration.
About this sound
Hugh Neutron screaming crabgrass from Jimmy Neutron is a short angry dad yell used for funny overreactions, lawn jokes and meme edits online.
This clip captures Hugh Neutron, Jimmy Neutron's eccentric dad, suddenly screaming the word crabgrass at full volume. The delivery is loud, strained and completely disproportionate to a simple lawn weed, which is exactly why it lands as comedy. His voice cracks with mock outrage, turning a mundane suburban complaint into a dramatic outburst. Played without context, it sounds like a genuine emergency, then the single silly word undercuts it. Viewers instantly picture his wide eyed expression and frantic energy, making the scream perfect for punctuating minor annoyances as if they were major disasters.
