Circulating online under titles listing Yulia as the performer and Adokawa Fu in the artist tag, this meowing hum became a shareable soundboard clip thanks to its sheer length and relentlessness. Short excerpts spread in cat memes and goofy edits, where the same memew phrase can underscore a pet video, a reaction shot or a deliberately drawn-out gag. It sits alongside other nonsense vocal memes like the sad meow song, which use cat sounds instead of words to set the mood.
About this sound
A long, cute loop of a girl humming and meowing mmm mremememew memew over and over, used for silly cat edits, goofy reactions and absurd meme videos.
This sound is an extended, loop-like vocal performance built entirely around soft humming and cat-like meowing sounds. A young female voice repeats a bouncy, nonsense melody of mmm, mremememew and memew syllables, rising and falling in pitch as if she is happily singing along to a tune only she can hear. There are no real lyrics, just the playful rhythm and the slightly squeaky, cute delivery. The repetition is the joke, turning a sweet little meow song into something hypnotic, silly and mildly annoying the longer it continues, which makes it perfect for lingering on an awkward or adorable moment.
