JELEEL is an American rapper and performer who built a viral following on TikTok with extremely energetic song previews, backflips and shouted catchphrases. His drawn out yeah became a standalone reaction clip as fans cut it from his videos and reposted it on soundboards and in edits. The joke is the intensity, a simple yes answered like a stadium celebration, so it spread beyond his music audience into gaming, gym and meme communities where it now signals excited agreement or a big win.
