About this sound

JonTron delivers the line half a job, full smile in his Flex Tape video, a short voice clip used for smug reactions to proudly half-finished work.

This short voice clip captures JonTron delivering the line half a job, full smile with cheerful, misplaced confidence. The delivery is bright and proud, as if a messy shortcut deserves full praise, which makes the contrast the joke. His upbeat tone turns a half-hearted effort into a fake achievement, perfect for moments when someone cuts corners and still looks pleased with themselves. Listeners instantly get the sarcasm without needing the scene, because the grin is audible in the voice. It lands as a quick punchline for botched fixes, lazy builds and proudly unfinished work.

Pro tip

Drop it right after the reveal of a crooked repair or half-built creation, and let JonTron's grin sit for a beat before cutting away. Pair it with a zoom-in on the flaw, and avoid music underneath so the smug delivery stays clear.

How people use it

Reacting to a friend's proudly botched DIY repair job.
Captioning a gamer who wins using a lazy shortcut.
