Kokichi Oma is a central character in Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony, released in 2017 by Spike Chunsoft. Voiced as a cheerful trickster, he lies constantly and treats the killing game like entertainment, which made his protestations of honesty become a running joke among fans. Clips of his voice lines circulated on YouTube, TikTok and anime soundboards, where short reaction sounds travel fastest. This particular denial stuck because it sums up his whole persona in one second, and fans still drop it whenever a character or friend is clearly not telling the truth.
About this sound
Kokichi Oma saying I'm not lying in a playful, teasing voice from Danganronpa V3, often used for bluffing jokes, edits and reaction memes online.
This is a short voice clip of Kokichi Oma, the mischievous Ultimate Supreme Leader from Danganronpa V3, insisting that he is not lying. He delivers the line with an exaggerated, whiny innocence that makes it sound suspicious rather than sincere, which is exactly the joke. Kokichi is famous for lying for fun and manipulating classmates during trials, so hearing him protest his honesty feels instantly ironic. The clip is just over a second long, clean and punchy, making his denial land like a punchline. Viewers recognize the tone immediately and read it as playful deception rather than a real defense.
