About this sound

A short, high-pitched scream from VTuber Lyrica, clipped as a reaction sound for jumpscares, fails and funny moments in streams and edits online.

Lyrica Scream 2 is a brief, piercing shriek from VTuber Lyrica that spikes suddenly and cuts off after a few seconds. The voice climbs fast, sounds genuinely startled, and carries that slightly compressed stream microphone quality fans recognise from live clips. Because it is so loud and abrupt compared to normal speech, it lands as both a jumpscare and a punchline. Viewers instantly read it as panic, shock or over-the-top fear, even without seeing the moment that caused it, which makes the clip work on its own in edits.

Pro tip

Place the scream right on the frame of impact or reveal, not before it, and drop your background audio a few decibels underneath. Keep the full shriek uncut for the punchline, and avoid layering it over dialogue or repeating it twice in a row.

How people use it

Drop it when a horror game enemy suddenly appears.
Use it for a character seeing a huge spider.
Add it to fails where someone falls over hard.
Play it when a streamer opens a shocking message.

More information

This clip comes from Lyrica, a VTuber known to fans for loud, expressive live reactions during streams. Short scream moments like this one were cut from broadcasts and shared as standalone sounds, with this version labelled as the second Lyrica scream. It spread through soundboards and creator communities where VTuber clips are often reused as reaction audio. Its popularity comes from how recognisable and extreme the reaction is, so editors keep using it for shock, fear and comedy moments online long after the original stream context is gone.

FAQ

What is the Lyrica Scream 2 sound?

It is a short clip of VTuber Lyrica letting out a loud, high-pitched scream during a stream. The sound lasts about four seconds and is mainly used as an exaggerated reaction to something scary, shocking or unexpectedly funny in a video or live chat.

Where does Lyrica Scream 2 come from?

The clip was taken from VTuber Lyrica's live content, where her startled reactions became popular with viewers. Fans isolated this scream as a separate sound, and the '2' in the name marks it as a second version shared alongside another Lyrica scream clip.

How do creators use the Lyrica scream?

Creators place it at the exact moment of a jumpscare, fail or shocking reveal to make the reaction feel bigger and funnier. It works best uncut and sparingly, because the sudden volume and pitch lose their impact if the sound is repeated too often.
