Mahito is a major antagonist in Jujutsu Kaisen, the manga and anime series created by Gege Akutami, where he appears as a cursed spirit born from humanity's hatred. Known for his sadistic personality and ability to reshape souls, he became a memorable villain for his playful cruelty during battles against Yuji Itadori. Short clips of his voice, especially his manic screams and laughter, spread through anime fan edits, soundboards and short-form videos as a shorthand for unhinged villain energy. Fans still reuse the sound to punctuate dramatic reveals and chaotic moments.
About this sound

This clip captures Mahito, the cursed spirit villain from Jujutsu Kaisen, letting out a prolonged, manic scream that shifts between a high-pitched shriek and a gleeful, taunting laugh. His voice cracks and rises with deranged excitement, making it feel both threatening and unhinged rather than simply frightened. The raw, unfiltered delivery carries the character's sadistic joy in battle, so listeners instantly recognise the chaos and menace behind it. Played on its own, it creates an unsettling jolt, while in edits it signals a villain losing control or a moment spiralling into madness.
