Marcus Fenix is the protagonist of the Gears of War series, first released by Epic Games in 2006 for Xbox 360, where he leads Delta Squad against the Locust Horde. Voiced by John DiMaggio, Marcus became known for short, gruff radio confirmations shared between firefights. The all clear line is one of those functional callouts, later ripped by fans and shared on soundboards alongside other Gears of War clips. It survives because gamers reuse military check ins as a universal shorthand for done, safe and ready to move forward.
About this sound
Marcus Fenix saying all clear from Gears of War, a short radio callout used for victory moments, squad check ins and clean finishes in gaming edits.
This is a brief voice line from Marcus Fenix, the lead soldier in Gears of War, confirming that an area is secure. Delivered in his deep, gravelly tone over squad radio, the words all clear land with calm authority after intense action. The clip lasts just over a second, so it feels like a clean punctuation mark rather than a speech. Viewers instantly read it as mission complete, danger passed and the team can move on. That contrast between the earlier chaos and his steady delivery is what makes it satisfying and funny when dropped into everyday situations.
