This sound is associated with Thanos, the Marvel villain known from the Avengers films, but this clip is mainly recognized online through its Portuguese dubbed delivery. It circulates in short meme edits, reaction videos and WhatsApp-style reposts where the serious tone makes ordinary situations sound absurdly cinematic. Its staying power comes from the contrast between Thanos-level drama and everyday jokes, similar to how people use the bruh meme or It was at this moment he knew for fast comedic emphasis.
About this sound
A short Portuguese Thanos voice clip saying "me chamaram de demente," used in memes, reaction edits and dramatic joke callouts.
This clip features Thanos delivering the Portuguese line "me chamaram de demente" in a deep, controlled voice that quickly turns a scene more dramatic. The wording translates roughly to being called crazy or deranged, which gives it a mix of menace, irony and wounded pride. Because the delivery is so serious, creators use it to exaggerate small disagreements, mock overreactions or frame someone as a villain in a funny way. It works especially well as a sudden cutaway line after a bold comment or a chaotic fail.
