This cry comes from episode 133 of the Tamagotchi anime television series, where Memetchi, Moriritchi and Himespetchi break down together in an emotional scene. Short clips of anime crying moments circulate widely as reaction sounds, and this one stands out because three distinct voices wail at once. Like the SpongeBob sad song, it is often used to underline fake or exaggerated sadness in memes. Fans of the franchise keep sharing it years later because the over-the-top sobbing fits perfectly into comedic edits.
About this sound
Memetchi, Moriritchi and Himespetchi crying in a scene from Tamagotchi episode 133. Creators use this anime crying sound for emotional memes and reaction clips.
The clip captures three Tamagotchi girls — Memetchi, Moriritchi and Himespetchi — sobbing in unison, their high-pitched anime voices overlapping into a wave of sniffles, wails and shaky breaths. Taken from a dramatic moment in the Tamagotchi television series, it has the exaggerated, heartfelt quality of classic anime crying scenes. Hearing it makes viewers feel the characters' sadness instantly, which is why it works so well as an emotional punch in short videos. The layered voices give it more weight than a single cry, making the moment feel bigger and more dramatic.
