Mercy is the angelic support hero from Blizzard's Overwatch, released in 2016, and a Mercy main is a player who specialises in her above other heroes. Gucci Gang is Lil Pump's 2017 breakout track, built around a chant-like repeated title that made it easy to parody and remix. Online editors combined the two ideas into a short gaming meme that celebrates, and gently mocks, devoted Mercy players. The clip spread through soundboards and edit communities where brief, recognisable music memes are reused for entrances, highlights and ironic character tributes.
About this sound
Mercy Main Gucci Gang is a short meme edit pairing Overwatch's support hero with Lil Pump's hit track, used for ironic gaming highlights and revive clips.
This short clip mashes up the idea of a dedicated Mercy main with the repetitive hook energy of Gucci Gang, turning a support player stereotype into a boastful meme anthem. The beat is loud, bouncy and instantly recognisable, while the Mercy reference makes the joke land for Overwatch players who know how committed Mercy mains can be. Instead of a calm healing vibe, the sound feels cocky and over the top, which is why editors use it as an ironic flex. It works best when a quiet support moment is suddenly framed like a superstar entrance.
