This clip is commonly shared online under the name “MIAWWWWWW” and the upload information credits it to Luthfi Halimawan. Even without a widely documented mainstream source, the sound has spread as a simple meow meme because its long, exaggerated delivery is easy to reuse in short edits and reaction posts. It stays popular for the same reason many cat sounds do online: a stretched vocal instantly reads as absurd, emotional and funny, especially in low-stakes everyday situations.
About this sound
An extended, dramatic meow meme clip credited to Luthfi Halimawan, used in edits, reaction posts and absurd punchlines when something feels extra weird.
This sound is a long, stretched-out meow delivered with exaggerated emotion, turning a simple cat-like cry into a full meme moment. The drawn-out “miaw” makes it feel dramatic, silly and a little chaotic at the same time. Because it lasts several seconds, it works well as both a punchline and a reaction sound, especially when a video needs an over-the-top sense of confusion, disappointment or mock sadness. The effect on viewers is immediate: the clip feels goofy, recognizable and weird enough to make a mundane moment suddenly funnier.
