The Minions are the small yellow characters from Illumination's Despicable Me franchise, first introduced in 2010, and their love of bananas became one of their most recognisable running jokes. Short banana-themed Minion clips spread online through short-form meme edits, soundboards, and reaction videos because the sound is instantly understood even without context, and creators still reuse it as a quick, family-friendly punchline for food jokes, yellow objects, and playful chaos.
About this sound
A short Minion-style banana sound from the Despicable Me characters, used in funny edits and reaction videos when something silly, sweet, or chaotic happens.
This is a very short, high-pitched Minion-style vocal clip built around the word bananas, delivered in the playful gibberish tone associated with the little yellow characters from Despicable Me. It is bright, bouncy, and instantly recognisable, even at under a second long, because the stretched vowels and excited delivery sound like a tiny creature celebrating its favourite food. Dropped into a video, it adds instant silliness and warmth, turning an ordinary moment into a cartoonish punchline without needing any explanation or setup for viewers who already know the characters.
