"For the Love of Money" is a song by The O'Jays, released in 1973 on the album Ship Ahoy. Its bass line and chorus made it memorable far beyond soul radio, and short clips later spread widely in meme edits and money-themed videos online. People still use it because the message is instantly clear the moment it starts. It also sits naturally beside sounds like Here Comes The Money when creators want a more playful cash-related cue.
