Neco-Arc is a comedic, cat-eared parody of Arcueid Brunestud from Type-Moon's Tsukihime universe, created as a joke fighter for the Melty Blood games. Her exaggerated voice lines and chaotic personality made her a long-running in-joke among fighting-game and anime fans, and short clips of her reactions began circulating widely through memes, edits and soundboards. The woah clip survives because it is instantly recognisable, easy to drop into almost any surprising moment, and carries the humour of the character even for viewers who have never played the games.
About this sound
Neco-Arc's short woah sound effect from Melty Blood, used in memes, edits and short videos for a sudden shocked or impressed reaction to something unexpected.
This is a very short, high-pitched vocal burst from Neco-Arc, the cat-eared parody version of Arcueid from Type-Moon's Tsukihime universe. It lasts less than half a second and sounds like a quick, surprised woah, delivered in her bright, playful, slightly chaotic voice, with almost no musical backing or background noise. Because it is so brief and instantly recognisable to anime and fighting-game fans, it lands like a tiny punchline, turning a normal clip into a moment of exaggerated surprise. Dropped at just the right beat, it makes a reaction feel bigger, funnier and more meme-like without drowning out the scene around it.
