Neko Arc, usually spelled Neco Arc, is the catlike parody form of Arcueid from Type-Moon's Tsukihime visual novel, later seen in the Melty Blood fighting games. The character stayed niche for years before short edits, remixes and meow clips pushed her into mainstream meme culture in the early 2020s. Her blank stare, tiny design and squeaky voice made her easy to drop into unrelated scenes. The sound survives because it signals cute chaos instantly, even for viewers who have never played the games or read the original story at all.
About this sound
A short Neko Arc meow sound effect from the Tsukihime and Melty Blood meme character, used in cute reaction edits, anime clips and funny posts.
This is the brief, high-pitched meow associated with Neko Arc, the chibi cat version of Arcueid Brunestud. Delivered in a flat, cute and slightly smug tone, the sound lasts just over a second and lands like a tiny cat interruption. It does not build or explain anything, which is why it works so well as a punchline. Viewers instantly read it as playful, absurd and a little chaotic, turning an ordinary reaction, fail or awkward pause into an anime meme moment without needing any dialogue or context to set it up beforehand.
