Nico Nico Nii is the signature catchphrase of Nico Yazawa, the idol character from the 2013 anime Love Live School Idol Project, voiced by Sora Tokui. Her little pose and chant became one of the franchise's most quoted moments, and the line took on a second life as an internet meme, remixed into songs, edits and joke mashups across YouTube and TikTok. The car version plays on that remix culture: the cute chant gets dropped over engine sounds as a deliberately absurd combo. Years later the phrase still signals playful anime fandom.
About this sound
The Nico Nico Nii chant from Love Live's Nico Yazawa over a revving engine. Creators use this anime meme sound in car edits, drift clips and entrances.
The clip opens with Nico Yazawa's famous Nico Nico Nii chant, the high-pitched sing-song catchphrase she performs with a cheerful wink and a hand heart, laid over the rising growl of a revving car engine. The cute anime voice and the aggressive motor sound clash on purpose, and the joke lands in that contrast: something adorable suddenly driving something loud. It feels fast, silly and full of energy, which is why it works as a punchline for vehicles, speed and overconfident entrances. The whole thing runs just under eight seconds, short enough to drop in and move on.
