About this sound

A drawn-out ohohoho laugh aimed at the Traveler from Genshin Impact, used in memes and edits for a smug, mocking reveal when a plan finally clicks into place.

This clip is a long, theatrical ohohoho laugh that stretches out the vowels and lands with a confident, almost villainous flourish, as if the speaker is delighted by their own cleverness. It is aimed at the Traveler, giving the moment a teasing, in-on-the-joke feel rather than a straightforward giggle. The laugh rises and falls in a playful rhythm, making it instantly recognisable even without any dialogue around it. Played over a reveal, a twist or a character walking into an obvious trap, it tells viewers straight away that someone thinks they are one step ahead, and it turns a simple scene into a smug punchline.

Pro tip

Drop it right as the twist is revealed, not during the setup, and let the laugh run uncut so the smug timing lands. Pair it with a zoom on the scheming character, but avoid stacking it over dialogue or repeating it twice in one edit.

How people use it

Creators play it over a villain revealing a hidden plan.
Editors use it when a character walks into a trap.
Streamers drop it after outsmarting an opponent in game.
Meme makers pair it with a smug reaction image.

More information

On meme soundboards this clip circulates with Genshin Impact tags, where the Traveler is the playable protagonist players follow through Teyvat. Fans lift short, expressive moments like this laugh for edits, reaction videos and gaming highlights, because a single vocal flourish can signal confidence or mockery faster than dialogue. Its spread follows the usual soundboard pattern: a recognisable snippet is clipped, shared, remixed into new contexts and kept in rotation for jokes about schemes, traps and overconfident reveals. That flexibility is why it still appears in Genshin fan edits and broader anime meme compilations.
