Ratatouille is the 2007 Pixar film about Remy, a rat who dreams of cooking in Paris and teams up with young cook Linguini. Clips and quotes from the film have circulated as memes for years, and this reaction became popular as an oh my god meme for moments involving rats, cooking, or unlikely talent. The existing search phrase ratatui meme shows how often the title is misspelled in searches, yet the reference remains clear. Creators keep reusing it because the surprise fits both literal food scenes and metaphorical reveals.
About this sound
The Omg Ratatouille sound is a shocked voice reaction used for surprised reveals, chaotic kitchen fails and funny food moments in meme edits online today.
This ten second clip captures an exaggerated oh my god reaction tied to Ratatouille, delivered with rising disbelief and comic timing. The voice sounds stunned and amused at the same time, stretching the surprise so it lands as a punchline rather than a genuine scare. It works because the reference is instantly recognisable, a tiny chef rat controlling a human cook, and the reaction mirrors what a viewer feels seeing something absurd in the kitchen. Placed over a reveal, it turns a normal moment into a dramatic, funny overreaction.
