'Oh my glob' is the signature catchphrase of Lumpy Space Princess, the spoiled floating character from Cartoon Network's Adventure Time, which premiered in 2010. She uses 'glob' in place of 'God' in the show's world, turning an ordinary expression of shock into an instantly recognisable line. Clips of her voice spread through meme edits, reaction videos and soundboards because the delivery is short, quotable and easy to recognise out of context. It remains popular for overreacting to reveals, gossip and minor disasters online.
About this sound
The 'Oh my glob' voice clip from Lumpy Space Princess in Adventure Time, used as a shocked reaction sound in memes, edits and funny videos.
This short voice clip captures Lumpy Space Princess delivering her catchphrase 'oh my glob' in her distinctive lumpy, valley-girl voice. The line stretches the surprise into a drawn-out, melodramatic gasp that sounds both shocked and completely over the top. It lands as instant comedy because the reaction feels far bigger than whatever caused it. Creators use the exaggerated delivery to puncture a moment, signal disbelief, or turn a minor reveal into a dramatic event without needing any extra dialogue or explanation on screen.
