About this sound

Knight Glorion shouting Onward from JourneyQuest, a short heroic battle cry used for charges, quests and pushing forward in edits and memes online.

This is a single shouted word, Onward, delivered by Knight Glorion in a loud, earnest, heroic style. The voice is clear and commanding, with the energy of a knight ordering a charge into battle. It lasts only a few seconds but lands with instant momentum, turning an ordinary moment into a mock epic quest. Creators use the clip when a character, player or friend sets off determinedly, because the over the top delivery makes even small actions feel brave, urgent and funny at the same time for viewers watching.

Pro tip

Place the shout right on the cut where movement starts, like a door opening, a run beginning or a game character charging. Keep the clip at full volume, trim any silence before it, and do not layer music underneath or the heroic delivery loses impact.

How people use it

Drop it when a game character charges into battle bravely.
Use it before a friend starts a difficult quest or challenge.
Play it as a team pushes forward toward an objective together.
Add it to edits of pets running heroically toward food.

More information

The clip comes from JourneyQuest, the fantasy comedy web series by Zombie Orpheus Entertainment, where Glorion is a single minded knight devoted to questing and heroic deeds. His shouted Onward became a standalone soundboard favourite because it captures the character in one word, all confidence and momentum with no context needed. Fans of the series share it outside the show as a rallying cry, and editors reuse it for gaming charges, tabletop moments and any scene that needs an instantly recognisable call to advance.
