Powerful burps have long been a staple of prank and gross-out humour online, where a loud belch is an easy, wordless joke that works across languages. This 22-second clip collects several forceful examples into one long take, which makes it useful for creators who need more than a single quick burp for a scene. It circulates as a meme sound because burping is instantly recognisable, slightly taboo and reliably funny in reaction edits, challenges and parody clips. Its length also lets editors pick the strongest blast without trimming a shorter file.
About this sound
Long, loud, powerful burps recorded in a row, perfect for gross-out jokes, pranks and reaction videos where a huge belch lands the punchline.
This clip is a 22-second run of deep, powerful burps, each one rolling out with a wet, guttural rumble before the next one takes over. The belches sound exaggerated and almost cartoonish in their force, with long, sustained blasts, sharp hiccup-like breaks and a low, resonant finish that makes them feel bigger than a normal burp. Played on its own it is instantly gross and funny, the kind of sound that makes listeners laugh, wince and repeat it back. In a video it works as a shock gag, turning an ordinary moment into something deliberately crude and over the top.
