Pizza Tower is an indie platform game released in 2023 by Tour De Pizza, starring chef Peppino Spaghetti in a frantic race through a tower. Inspired by classic Wario Land games, it built a large online following for its expressive animation, speedrun movement and chaotic soundtrack. The uppercut is one of Peppino's core attacks, used to smash enemies and blocks above him. Clips of the move were shared in gameplay edits and memes, and its short impact sound became a reusable punch effect far beyond the game itself.
About this sound
The short uppercut punch sound from Pizza Tower, the fast-paced platformer starring Peppino. Creators use it for cartoon hits, jumps and comedic fight edits.
This is the punchy uppercut effect from Pizza Tower, heard when Peppino launches into a powerful upward attack. In just over a second it delivers a sharp whoosh and a solid cartoon impact, full of energy and exaggeration. The sound feels fast, springy and slightly chaotic, matching the game's frantic hand-drawn style. It instantly makes a simple jump or hit look stronger and funnier, because the audio sells the force before the action even lands. Viewers recognise it as pure Pizza Tower momentum, turning ordinary edits into slapstick moments.
