P.O.D. is an American rock band from San Diego, California, formed in 1992 and known for blending nu metal with reggae, hip hop and alternative rock influences. Higher comes from that later catalogue and circulates online as a short excerpt identified by its my spirit fly lyric rather than the full track title. That phrasing is how many listeners search for the moment after hearing it in edits and reposts, turning a brief album clip into a standalone motivational sound shared outside the full song.
About this sound
Short clip from Higher by P.O.D. with the my spirit fly lyric, used as a soaring music moment for edits, sports highlights and uplifting posts.
This is a brief excerpt from Higher by the American rock band P.O.D., built around the uplifting line about a spirit flying. The clip carries the band's energetic nu metal and alternative rock sound, with driving instrumentation and a passionate vocal delivery that rises rather than settles. It feels determined and freeing, like a breakthrough moment compressed into a few seconds. Listeners hear it as a burst of motivation rather than a full song, which makes the short passage easy to recognise and reuse when a scene needs lift, confidence or emotional release in an edit.
