About this sound

Pomni asks what's going on in this voice clip from The Amazing Digital Circus, used for confused reactions and moments when things suddenly stop making sense.

This is Pomni's bewildered voice asking what's going on, delivered in a high, anxious tone that instantly sells confusion and mild panic. The line is short and punchy, with a rising inflection that makes it sound like she has just walked into chaos she does not understand. It works because listeners recognise that feeling immediately, so dropping it over a strange reveal, a sudden glitch or an unexpected twist makes the moment feel funnier and more relatable without needing any extra explanation.

Pro tip

Place it on the cut to the confusing reveal, not before it, and let Pomni's rising question hang for a beat before the chaos starts. Pair it with a zoom or glitch effect, but avoid layering music underneath, or her anxious delivery will get buried.

How people use it

Reacting to a friend's confusing plot twist in a video.
Captioning a sudden glitch during a gaming livestream clip.
Opening a meme about waking up somewhere completely unexpected.
Highlighting a character entering a chaotic new digital world.
