This clip has no single famous source, which is typical of short bodily-humor sounds shared on soundboards and in meme edits. Rather than coming from a well-known film or show, it circulates because it is instantly recognisable as a burp and instantly usable as a joke. Creators reuse it in prank videos, reaction edits and short-form comedy, where a fraction of a second is enough to sell disgust or silliness. Its staying power comes from that simplicity: it needs no context, works across languages, and fits the fast, crude humour of online memes.
About this sound
A short, gross burp sound effect for poop jokes and prank edits. Creators drop it into funny videos, memes and reaction clips for a quick, silly laugh.
This is a very brief, wet burp that sounds deliberately gross and cartoonish, like a quick belch recorded up close with a squelchy, bodily edge. At under half a second, it lands fast and then disappears, which is why it works as a punchline rather than background noise. It instantly signals a toilet joke without needing words or setup, and it feels juvenile in the best possible way. Dropped over a reaction shot, a failed attempt or a silly caption, it makes the moment feel cheaper, funnier and a little more disgusting, and viewers laugh because the sound is so short, crude and unmistakably a burp.
