The sound comes from the Redmi Note 6 Pro, a Xiaomi smartphone released in 2018, and this version is credited as a Mi Remix from 2019 by Ringtone Maker. Default Xiaomi tones spread widely beyond the handset itself because users extracted and shared them as downloadable MP3 ringtones for other Android phones. The 2019 remix lengthened the familiar melody into a fuller loop, helping it circulate on soundboards and ringtone collections. It remains used by people who want the recognisable Redmi call sound without owning that specific model.
About this sound
The Redmi Note 6 Pro ringtone is a Mi Remix 2019 phone tone based on the Xiaomi default sound, commonly used for incoming calls, alarms and notifications.
This is an extended remix of the default ringtone associated with the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, stretched into a bright, looping phone melody lasting about eighteen seconds. The tune is clean and electronic, with a light, upbeat pulse that repeats in a pattern designed to be heard clearly over background noise. Unlike a short notification ping, it builds as a full call tone, staying cheerful and insistent without vocals or harsh sounds. Listeners recognise it instantly as a Xiaomi phone ringing, which makes it feel nostalgic for Redmi owners and oddly catchy even as a standalone meme audio clip.
