Rescue Whale is a character associated with Mr Weebl, the online animator behind a series of short, musical and comedic animations that became popular through early web video. The phrase works as a simple, memorable announcement, which helped the clip travel beyond its original animation into meme edits, reaction videos and soundboards. Creators reuse it because it instantly signals rescue, relief and a lighthearted twist, keeping the character recognisable even for viewers who have not seen the original animation.
