The clip comes from the international trailer for Chainsaw Man - The Movie: Reze Arc, the film centred on Reze, the mysterious girl Denji meets after the events of the first season. The trailer builds its tension around her story before landing on this heavy impact, and fans soon clipped the moment for edits and reaction videos. The short boom sound works as a compact, recognisable cue for anime fans, so creators keep reusing it whenever a Reze moment, a reveal, or a dramatic entrance needs a sudden burst of weight.
About this sound
A short, heavy boom from the Chainsaw Man Reze Arc movie trailer, used for dramatic reveals, explosions and sudden twists in anime edits and memes.
The Reze Boom is a single, punchy impact lasting about a second, built around a deep low-end thump that lands hard and fades into a brief, rumbling tail. It sounds like a small explosion going off close by, with enough weight to shake a scene without drowning out dialogue or music. In an edit, it gives a reveal, a punchline, or a sudden change of direction a physical jolt, making the moment feel bigger and more dramatic than the visuals alone suggest. It works best as a punctuation mark, arriving exactly on the cut, the impact, or the reaction, and then getting out of the way.
