This clip circulates online mainly as a Portuguese-language meme audio, often labeled risada de fumante, fumante meme, or meme fumante. Its exact original source is not reliably identified, so it is better known through reposts, soundboards, and chat forwards than through a single film or TV reference. The laugh sticks around because its rough, coughing delivery instantly signals secondhand embarrassment, irony, and low-fi internet humor. That makes it a natural fit for short reaction edits, Brazilian meme posts, and WhatsApp-style joke sharing.
About this sound
A wheezy, smoker-style laugh meme clip known as risada de fumante. People use it in reaction edits, awkward jokes and chaotic WhatsApp memes.
Risada de fumante is a short meme audio built around a raspy, breathy laugh that sounds like someone cracking up through a heavy smoker's cough. The voice has a rough, scratchy texture and an exaggerated, slightly uncomfortable rhythm that makes the moment feel absurd on purpose. In edits, it usually lands as a punchline after a bad joke, a cursed image, or a scene that is so awkward it becomes funny. The effect is half laughter, half disbelief, which is why it works well in reaction posts and chat memes.
