Little is known about where this clip came from: it surfaced on a user-generated soundboard under the gaming section, tagged only with the note 'robby is sussy', and no game, video or show has been confirmed as its source. It picked up steam the way most short voice memes do, passed around Discord servers and meme edits where its tiny 2.7-second length makes it perfect for rapid-fire comedic timing. Rather than an iconic quote from a known work, its appeal is the shock of a taboo word delivered completely deadpan, which keeps it circulating in sus and cursed meme edits.
About this sound
A voice clip of Robby saying the word 'sex' in a flat, deadpan tone. A 2.7-second gaming meme drop for shock jokes, sus edits and cursed reaction videos.
The clip lasts less than three seconds and contains a single moment: a voice credited to Robby says the word 'sex' in a flat, almost bored tone, as if stating an everyday fact. There is no build-up, no music and no follow-up, which is exactly what makes it funny. Hearing the taboo word delivered so casually and out of nowhere creates a small jolt of surprise, and creators lean on that jolt for cheap, repeatable laughs. The deadpan delivery is key: Robby sounds completely unbothered, which turns an innocent-looking game voice clip into a punchline that lands harder the drier the reading feels.
