The exact origin of this clip is undocumented, and it appears to come from a user made ringtone rather than a film, show or game. Files labelled cat summoner circulate on soundboards and ringtone maker apps, where short homemade voice recordings are shared for anyone to reuse. Its appeal is simple and relatable, since calling a pet by name is a daily ritual for millions of owners. Creators keep reaching for it because the warm, personal delivery feels authentic next to polished effects, making it a natural fit for pet videos, reaction memes and lighthearted skits.
About this sound
A short voice clip calling out Sashi and Scooter like a cat summoner ringtone. Pet owners and meme editors use it for funny cat calls and pet videos.
This is a short five-second voice clip of someone calling out the names Sashi and Scooter in a warm, beckoning tone, the kind of sing-song call people use to summon a cat from another room. The delivery is playful and insistent, with each name given its own little lift, so it instantly reads as a pet owner trying to coax an animal into view. Tagged as a cat summoner ringtone, it carries that homemade charm of a phone-recorded voice memo rather than a studio effect. Dropped over a video, it makes viewers smile because everyone recognises the universal ritual of calling a pet that is pretending not to hear you.
