Lord Shaxx is the larger-than-life handler of the Crucible, Destiny's player-versus-player arena, known for his booming commentary on matches. This voice line, in which he singles out a Guardian as his favorite, spread through Destiny gameplay clips and short-form videos, where fans used it to celebrate standout plays. It remains popular because it flips Shaxx's usual battle-hardened persona into something warm and personal, giving creators an instantly recognisable Destiny reference that works even for viewers who only know the character from memes.
About this sound
Lord Shaxx calls a player his favorite Guardian in this Destiny voice clip, a proud Crucible moment fans drop into gameplay videos and memes.
This short Destiny voice clip features Lord Shaxx, the booming Crucible handler, delivering a warm and unusually personal piece of praise to a Guardian. His voice is loud, theatrical and full of pride, rising with excitement as he singles out one player above the rest. For Destiny fans the line lands as both a joke and a genuine compliment, because Shaxx is usually shouting about combat, not handing out affection. Played over a gameplay moment it turns a good play into a celebrated one, making the viewer feel chosen, victorious and briefly like the hero of the Tower.
