Sneaky Snitch was composed by American composer Kevin MacLeod and released as royalty free music for creators, which helped it spread quickly across YouTube videos, games and animations. Its title and tiptoe rhythm made it the default cue for stealth scenes, and short form platforms later turned the loop into a meme staple for POV sneaking, cheating and eavesdropping clips. Because the track is instantly recognisable without any lyrics, editors still reuse the same opening bars to signal mischief before anything suspicious has actually happened on screen.
About this sound
Sneaky Snitch is the plucked, tiptoeing instrumental by Kevin MacLeod used as background music for sneaking, stealing and suspicious meme edits.
Sneaky Snitch is a light, mischievous instrumental built around pizzicato strings, a soft xylophone melody and quiet brushed percussion that rises and falls in short tiptoe phrases. The 22 second loop feels like someone creeping on their toes, pausing, then creeping again, which makes any ordinary action look guilty or secretive. Viewers instantly read the cue as cartoon stealth, so a person peeking around a corner, a cat stealing food or a friend taking the last snack suddenly plays like a planned heist.
