This is a very short, high-energy voice line from Sonic the Hedgehog, delivered in his familiar fast, cheeky tone as he rattles off the catchphrase Gotta Catch Em All. The delivery is punchy and upbeat, with a bright, cartoonish edge that lands instantly even in just over a second and a half. It works as a burst of confidence and excitement, turning a simple win, find or reveal into something playful and over the top. Listeners recognise Sonic immediately, so the clip adds instant character and humour without needing any explanation or setup.

This clip brings those two gaming worlds together in a single short line, which is why it works so well as a crossover joke. Short Sonic voice clips have long circulated on soundboards and in gaming videos, where a familiar character voice can sell a joke in seconds. Its brevity and instant recognition keep it useful for collectors, completionists and meme editors who want a quick, energetic payoff.

FAQ

What is the Sonic Gotta Catch Em All sound?

It is a short, energetic voice clip of Sonic the Hedgehog saying the catchphrase Gotta Catch Em All. Creators use it as a quick reaction sound for wins, finds and completed collections in gaming and meme videos.

Why does Sonic say a Pokemon catchphrase?

The humour comes from the crossover: Gotta Catch Em All is best known as Pokemon's slogan, so hearing Sega's Sonic deliver it creates a playful clash between two famous gaming worlds. It is used as a joke rather than a serious quote.

How can I use this sound in a video?

Place it at the exact moment a reward, character or collection is revealed, then let it play once without looping it. It works best over a short zoom, sparkle or celebration effect, where its fast delivery adds energy to the reveal.
