Steve's Lava Chicken comes from A Minecraft Movie, released in 2025, where Jack Black as Steve performs the brief song on the official soundtrack released by WaterTower Music. Written as a joke celebration of a game food cooked in lava, the number spread quickly through trailers, clips and fan posts because its hook is easy to quote and sing along to. Its short length and clear chorus helped it move from cinema audiences to short form video, where it is now reused far beyond Minecraft fans.

This is the short musical number performed by Jack Black as Steve in A Minecraft Movie, celebrating lava chicken in an over the top rock style. The vocal is loud, theatrical and instantly catchy, with a simple repeated hook that sticks after one listen. It turns an ordinary in game food item into a proud anthem, which is why the clip feels both silly and triumphant. Viewers often remember the grin in the delivery as much as the tune itself, making the moment stand out in edits long after the scene ends.
