About this sound
The short 'swish swish bish' hook from Katy Perry's song Swish Swish featuring Nicki Minaj, often used in memes and edits to mock a rival or celebrate a win.
This is the punchy chorus hook from Katy Perry's Swish Swish, where the words swish swish bish land over a sharp, basketball-inspired beat. The delivery is confident and dismissive, almost like a taunt, with a crisp rhythm that makes the phrase instantly quotable. Even in just a few seconds, it sets up a comeback moment, turning a simple lyric into a victory lap. Listeners recognise it immediately as a playful put-down, which is why it works so well as a reaction sound when someone has just been outplayed, outsmarted, or proven wrong.
