About this sound

Voice clip from Hellsing Ultimate Abridged episode 3 where orientation day is announced, used for funny intros, training scenes and anime reaction edits.

This is a short voice clip from Team Four Star's Hellsing Ultimate Abridged episode 3, built around the deadpan announcement of orientation day. The line lands with the series' signature mix of formal delivery and absurd workplace framing, treating a vampire hunting organisation like a normal office starting a new intake. That contrast is what makes the moment funny on its own, even without the surrounding scene. Played out of context, it sounds like a strangely serious welcome briefing, which gives reaction videos and edits an instant mock corporate tone that viewers instantly recognise as parody.

Pro tip

Place it right at the start of a video as a fake cold open before cutting to a messy first day or training montage. Keep the original deadpan delivery clean, lower background music, and let the pause after it land before adding visuals.

How people use it

Creators open training videos with this mock orientation announcement.
Fans drop it before chaotic first day gaming streams.
Editors use it for anime workplace parody introductions.
Streamers play it when welcoming new Discord server members.

More information

Hellsing Ultimate Abridged is Team Four Star's fan made parody dub of the Hellsing Ultimate anime, reworking the dark vampire series into fast workplace and military comedy. Episode 3 provided this orientation day moment, which fans later clipped for soundboards and short edits. The joke survives outside the episode because orientation language is familiar from schools and jobs, while the source material is anything but ordinary. Its continued use comes from that mismatch, plus nostalgia for the abridged era of YouTube parody dubs that flourished in the late 2000s and 2010s.
