Little is known about the original recording behind this clip, which circulates online simply as the funniest face on the planet. The existing description captures it as an aaaaaaah burp, and that simple pairing helped it spread as a short meme sound on soundboards and in edited videos. Its humor relies on timing rather than context, so creators reuse it for shocked sound moments and other exaggerated reactions where a dramatic scream followed by a burp instantly signals that nothing should be taken seriously.
About this sound
A loud aaaaaaah scream followed by a burp, known as the funniest face on the planet meme sound, used for silly reactions and prank edits online.
This five second clip starts with an exaggerated aaaaaaah scream that sounds like someone pulling the most ridiculous face possible, then it cuts straight into a loud, unexpected burp. The contrast between the dramatic yell and the gross, silly payoff is what makes it work, instantly turning a normal reaction into something absurd. It feels less like a polished effect and more like a friend messing around on camera, which gives edits a chaotic, homemade energy that lands especially well in short meme videos and reaction posts.
