The Last Leg is a British comedy talk show known for its direct, irreverent takes on news and current events, and Alex is one of its regular presenters. This short exclamation comes from that on-air style, where a blunt one-word response often cuts through a long discussion. Fans have lifted it for short reaction clips because it needs no context to be understood, and creators keep reusing it whenever a statement deserves instant scepticism. Its brevity makes it easy to drop into memes, streams and edits without slowing the joke.
About this sound
Alex from The Last Leg bluntly says bullshit in this short clip, ideal for calling out nonsense in reaction videos, memes and streams when a claim falls apart.
The clip captures Alex delivering a single, exasperated word with sharp emphasis, his voice rising slightly before dropping hard on the final syllable, which makes the disbelief feel immediate and unmistakable. Lasting less than a second, it cuts straight through a scene without any buildup, music or background noise, so the reaction lands instantly. Viewers hear it as a blunt, funny dismissal rather than an angry outburst, the kind of deadpan call-out that turns a dubious claim into a punchline. It works because the delivery is confident, relatable and instantly recognisable to fans of the show's frank, no-nonsense tone.
