The exact original source of this clip is not confirmed, so it is best understood through how it circulates online as part of the wider Rizz sounds trend. Rizz became popular slang for charm and flirting ability on TikTok and Twitch, and short rizz clips are shared as reactions to confident or cringe attempts at flirting. Pairing that idea with The Weeknd name adds a smooth pop star association that users play on in edits, soundboards and meme compilations shared across social platforms.
About this sound
The Weeknd rizz sound effect is a short meme clip built around flirty charm energy, used for crush edits, thirst traps and playful reaction videos.
This six second clip pairs the smooth, late night pop R&B mood linked to The Weeknd with the stretched out rizz meme delivery that drags the final sound for comic effect. It feels flirty and confident rather than serious, like a wink aimed straight at the camera. The drawn out ending turns a simple compliment into a punchline, making the moment sound smug, playful and a little over the top. Viewers instantly read it as someone trying too hard to be charming, which is why the exaggerated tone lands as funny instead of romantic in most edits.
