About this sound

Play the Twitch follower alert button, download the MP3, or set it as a notification tone. This 2.5-second stream sound marks a new follow without lingering.

This clip is a compact notification sound associated with Twitch follower alerts. It has the quick, attention-grabbing feel of a stream popup, making viewers instantly notice that someone new has followed. Because it is short and clean, it fits neatly over gameplay, chatting, reaction clips, and stream highlight edits without taking over the whole moment. The sound gives a scene a live-stream atmosphere and adds that familiar burst of recognition people expect when an on-screen alert appears during a broadcast.

Pro tip

Set the alert just above gameplay but below your speaking voice, then leave half a second of space after it. Pair it with a subtle bell for milestone follows; stacking multiple loud notifications will muddy the moment.

More information

At 2.5 seconds, the clip is already compact enough for alerts and usually needs no trimming. Download the MP3 once and keep it on your device for offline stream setups. It can also serve as a ringtone or notification tone, though its alert-style timing suits short notifications best. If you layer it over gameplay or speech, lower it until voices remain clear. For alternate cues, pair it with a Bell Ding Sound Effect or Discord Notification Sound Effect.

Use the MP3 download option, then save the file to the folder used by your streaming or editing software. You can import that saved file into an alert overlay without recording the button playback.

Can I use this sound as a notification or ringtone?

Yes. Save the MP3 locally, then select it through your phone's ringtone or notification settings. Because the clip lasts about 2.5 seconds, it is generally better suited to notifications than repeating incoming-call audio.
