Urlo potente is Italian for powerful scream, and the clip circulates online under that simple descriptive name rather than a known film or show credit. It spread through meme soundboards and short-form edits, where a single exaggerated yell works without any context or setup. The clip sits in the same family as the classic scream meme, reused for rage, shock and mock horror across many different videos. Its lack of dialogue makes it easy to drop into any language or genre, keeping it popular for quick reaction edits.
About this sound
A loud powerful scream sound effect used in meme and reaction edits to exaggerate shock, anger, pain, or a sudden over-the-top moment online.
Urlo Potente is a raw, full-throated human scream that builds in power and holds at peak intensity for several seconds. The voice is strained and forceful, with a rough edge that makes it feel less like a quick yelp and more like an unleashed outburst. There is no music or dialogue, just the sheer volume and energy of the yell taking over the moment. Played over a calm or ordinary clip, it instantly turns the scene dramatic, funny or chaotic, which is why editors use it as a punchline for extreme reactions.
