Salieri is Antonio Salieri as an Avenger class Servant in Fate/Grand Order, the mobile RPG from the Fate series. His strained uwoooo cry is used in game as a damage reaction, especially around Noble Phantasm attacks, and short clips of it were ripped and shared on soundboards as a standalone reaction. Players and editors began using it outside the game for any overblown loss, painful pull or dramatic injury joke, because the theatrical delivery is instantly recognisable to Fate fans while still reading as pure anguish to everyone else.
About this sound
The Salieri uwoooo scream from Fate/Grand Order, taken from his Noble Phantasm damage reaction and used for dramatic pain, rage and over-the-top fails online.
This is a long, strained male scream that rises into a raw uwoooo wail and holds for several seconds before fading. It is the damage vocal for Salieri in Fate/Grand Order, recorded as he takes a hit during a Noble Phantasm, so the delivery is theatrical, pained and furious at once. The pitch wavers, the voice cracks with effort, and there is no music or dialogue to soften it. That intensity makes a normal hit feel catastrophic, and when placed over a small mistake it instantly turns embarrassment, defeat or frustration into melodramatic comedy.
