The clip comes from Uzaylılar Hoşgeldiniz by Turkish singer Şemsi Yastıman, a song built around a direct welcome to aliens. Shared as a short soundboard clip, it circulates mainly among Turkish-speaking meme makers and editors who recognise the phrase at once, even without the full song. Its appeal is the contrast between a polite, old-fashioned greeting and an out-of-this-world subject, which works as a ready-made reaction to anything unfamiliar. That simple, instantly readable joke is why the short excerpt keeps appearing in edits rather than fading with the original track.
About this sound
A short clip from Şemsi Yastıman's Turkish song Uzaylılar Hoşgeldiniz, with its welcoming aliens chorus used as a playful greeting in memes and edits.
This short clip lifts the hook from Şemsi Yastıman's Uzaylılar Hoşgeldiniz, a Turkish folk-style song that welcomes aliens with a warm, slightly cheeky chorus. The vocal sits front and centre over a simple, bouncy accompaniment, so the phrase lands instantly even if listeners do not speak Turkish. Its tone is friendly rather than dramatic, which makes the arrival of something strange feel funny and harmless instead of threatening. Used in a video, it turns an unexpected entrance, a weird reveal or a new character introduction into a joke, giving viewers a clear cue to smile before the scene has even finished playing out.
