Listed as Vanya Prime, this 0.6 second clip circulates on Russian language soundboards with no confirmed original speaker or show behind it. The audio is credited to a voice changer effect, suggesting it was made for sharing rather than lifted from a film. It spread as a quick reaction button in chats and short video edits, where users drop the processed shut up line to mock overtalking, bad takes and noisy lobbies. Its brevity and rude directness keep it in rotation alongside other one word meme replies.
About this sound
Vanya Prime is a short Russian voice meme clip saying close your mouth, used as a blunt shut up reaction in chats, edits and gaming soundboard jokes online.
The clip is a very brief processed male voice delivering the Russian phrase meaning close your mouth in a flat, commanding tone. At just over half a second it lands as an instant verbal slap, cutting off an argument or silly comment without any buildup. The slight voice changer effect makes it sound artificial and exaggerated, which adds to the comedy. Viewers hear it less as a real insult and more as a playful soundboard punchline, perfect for a sudden interruption where a short, rude reply is funnier than a full sentence.
