Welcome to PUBG Airlines is a community-made gaming joke associated with PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds and its opening aircraft sequence. Rather than being treated as official game dialogue, the announcement format reframes the transport plane as a passenger airline. The clip spread through gameplay montages, squad videos, meme compilations, and soundboards, where its extended delivery gives editors time to build a complete opening scene. It remains useful because PUBG players immediately recognize the flight-and-parachute setup behind the airline parody.
About this sound
A comedic PUBG voice clip from gaming meme culture, styled like an in-flight welcome and used in battle royale edits, squad videos, and player jokes.
Welcome to PUBG Airlines is a long-form comedic voice clip that turns the start of a PUBG match into a mock airline announcement. The speaker welcomes players as though they are passengers aboard a flight, creating a playful connection to the aircraft sequence before competitors parachute onto the map. Its formal announcement style contrasts with the danger and chaos awaiting the players below. The joke works especially well in gameplay videos because it makes an ordinary pre-drop moment feel like a bizarre commercial flight, adding anticipation and humor before the action begins.
