Listed with the note drinking out of cups, this clip circulates as a quick reaction sound rather than as part of a longer song or scene. Its exact source recording is unclear, so it lives mainly through reposts and soundboards where the short duration makes it easy to drop into videos and chats. People keep using it because the line is instantly understood without context, works as a stand alone review, and fits the fast call and response style of meme edits and comment threads.
About this sound
A short voice clip saying what is this garbage in a disgusted tone, linked to the drinking out of cups meme and used for bad takes and fails.
This is a one-second voice reaction of someone blurting out what is this garbage in a flat, disgusted tone. There is no music or build up, just the line landing hard and ending almost as soon as it starts. The delivery sounds unimpressed rather than angry, like the speaker has just seen something so bad it is not even worth explaining. That instant dismissal is what makes it funny, because it sums up a whole negative review in four words and leaves no room for debate or defence from whoever it is aimed at.
