Who I Smoke was released in 2021 by Yungeen Ace, Spinabenz and Whoppa Wit Da Choppa, three Jacksonville rappers associated with the Florida drill scene. The track gained wider attention through TikTok, where its hook was reused in edits, gym clips and confrontational memes, helping the song chart and reach listeners far beyond its original audience. Its direct, name-checking style made it instantly recognisable, and creators still return to it when they need a short, aggressive rap moment that needs no explanation.
About this sound
A short clip from Who I Smoke, the 2021 drill track by Yungeen Ace, Spinabenz and Whoppa Wit Da Choppa, used in TikTok edits for a hard, confrontational drop.
The clip captures the driving hook of Who I Smoke, a Florida drill track built around a dark, menacing beat and rapid-fire verses that name rivals and stake a claim to the streets. Over a sparse, pounding instrumental, the rappers trade sharp, aggressive lines with a cold, confident delivery that leaves little room for humour. The sound feels tense and confrontational from the first bar, building pressure rather than releasing it, which is why it lands so hard in short edits. Hearing it instantly signals danger, bravado and a no-nonsense attitude.
